Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to an on-site, school-based contract role in Potter County for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is designed for professionals who want to support students' communication, language, and social development in a campus setting.

Position Details: Speech Language Pathologist

Start Date: ASAP
Location: On-Site
School Year: 2026-2027
Hours/schedule per week: 4 day school week, M-Th 7:15-4:15
Caseload details: approx 63 students

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing needs.
  • Conduct screenings and administer standardized measures across areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication.
  • Develop and carry out IEPs and/or 504 Plans focused on communication-related services and goals.
  • Provide targeted therapy and supports for speech and language needs, including use of AAC when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to integrate communication goals, monitor progress, and support student success.

Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:

  • Ability to complete student evaluations, screenings, and standardized assessments in a school setting.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs and/or 504 Plans for students with communication-related needs.
  • Ability to deliver intervention services addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication.
  • Knowledge of documentation and recordkeeping practices to track progress and maintain accurate student files.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, administrators, and families to support students.
