We're currently seeking a full-time, in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting preschool students within a school district in Providence County, Rhode Island for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 06/15/2027
- Location:Providence County, Rhode Island
- On-Site, 37 hours per week
- School Year: 2026-2027
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. RIDE Certification
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Ability to evaluate speech, language, and social communication skills accurately.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool students.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student communication needs.
- Support use of augmentative and alternative communication devices when necessary.
- Educate staff and families about effective communication strategies and early intervention practices.
