We're currently seeking a full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a school in Talbot County, Maryland for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details
- Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)

- Location: Talbot County, Maryland
- On-Site: Yes
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- School Year: 2026-2027
Qualifications
- Maryland Occupational Therapy License, optional NBCOT Certification
- Experience evaluating student needs and providing school-based OT services (direct and/or consult).
- Experience supporting IEPs (goal development, service delivery, documentation, and progress reporting).
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, related service providers, and families.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students' functional performance and determine the need for occupational therapy intervention.
- Develop and support IEP goals for students requiring OT services (direct and/or consultative).
- Plan, implement, and periodically re-evaluate treatment programs aligned to student needs and IEP requirements.
- Provide on-site OT services and consult with school teams to support student access and participation.
- Support staff with safe/effective use of adaptive devices, positioning equipment, mobility supports, and related tools as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation including progress reporting, annual review materials, and any required billing/records.
