Join our client for the 2026-2027 school year as an Occupational Therapist in Talbot County, Maryland. This is an on-site, contract opportunity based in Easton, supporting students through school-based occupational therapy services.
Position Details: Occupational Therapist

Hours Per Week: 35
School Year: 2026-2027
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
- Assess student functioning and determine the need for occupational therapy intervention.
- Develop and support IEP goals through direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
- Design, initiate, and regularly reassess treatment plans aligned to student needs and IEP requirements.
- Provide on-site occupational therapy services and collaborate with school staff and families to reinforce student supports.
- Maintain required documentation, reports, and billing records, including progress updates and annual review materials.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Ability to evaluate student needs and implement appropriate school-based occupational therapy interventions.
- Experience developing, supporting, and reporting on IEP-related goals and services.
- Demonstrated skill collaborating with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers.
- Ability to train and support staff on safe handling and use of positioning equipment, adaptive devices, and mobility supports.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation for progress reporting, student files, and Medical Assistance billing requirements.
