Onward Education is partnering with a small K-8 school to hire a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services for a small caseload focused on articulation goals. This is a great fit for an SLP who's confident delivering teletherapy, enjoys a "small community" school feel, and can help a team that's newer to virtual service delivery.

Brief Role Summary

In this role, you'll deliver virtual speech services to a very small caseload of approximately 6 students. Services are primarily articulation-only, with no social goals noted, and the school is looking for an SLP who can step in quickly and support a smooth, positive teletherapy experience for students and staff.

Position Details:

• Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

• School Year: 2026/2027
• Start: ASAP
• Caseload: Approximately 6 students, K-8
• Service model notes: 1 student receives 30 minutes, 4x per 6-week period; remaining students receive 30 minutes, 2x per 6-week period

• New evaluations/testing: Not expected at this time

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual speech-language therapy to K-8 students, primarily targeting articulation goals.
• Collaborate with school staff to support IEP implementation and service delivery in a virtual environment.
• Document sessions, progress, and service minutes in alignment with school expectations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communication with the team as needed.
• Help guide best practices for teletherapy in a school setting, as the team is newer to virtual services.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP credentialing for school-based practice, per state requirements.
• Experience providing virtual or teletherapy services strongly preferred and important for this role.
• Comfort supporting a small caseload and working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and organization skills to keep services running smoothly.
