You&#8217;ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, student-centered instruction and support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: <strong>Onsite in Marion County, Indiana<\/strong>\n<li>Schedule: <strong>Full-Time, Monday-Friday<\/strong> (staff hours: <strong>7:10 AM-3:10 PM<\/strong>)\n<li>School Year: <strong>2026-2027<\/strong> (through <strong>6\/3\/2027<\/strong>)\n<li>Setting: <strong>Elementary (Grades 1-4)<\/strong>\n<li>Caseload: <strong>10-12 students<\/strong>\n<li>Weekly Guaranteed Hours: <strong>37.5<\/strong> <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide specialized instruction and support for students in a Life Skills classroom setting.\n<li>Develop and implement instruction focused on functional academics, daily living skills, independence, and social communication.\n<li>Support student goals aligned to IEPs, including skill-building for school participation and long-term independence.\n<li>Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.\n<li>Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning, goal development, and progress reporting.\n<li>Maintain accurate documentation for services provided, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements.\n<li>Use evidence-based strategies to support behavior, communication, and functional skill development in the school environment.\n<li>Ensure compliance with special education regulations and district policies. <\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Indiana teaching license appropriate for Special Education assignment\n<li>Mild Intervention required; Intense Intervention preferred\n<li>Experience (or strong interest) in Life Skills \/ functional classroom environments\n<li>Knowledge of IEP processes, special education compliance, and school-based service delivery\n<li>Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and organizational skills\n<li>Ability to build positive, structured learning environments that support diverse learner needs <\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to a wide network of schools and districts for diverse placement options\n<li>Streamlined hiring process to get you started quickly\n<li>Ongoing communication and advocacy throughout your placement\n<li>Personalized support from dedicated recruiting professionals\n<li>Opportunities for professional growth and development <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Apply?<\/strong><br \/> If you&#8217;re passionate about helping students build independence and meaningful life skills&#8211;while supporting academic growth in a structured, supportive setting&#8211;this is the opportunity for you.
