Onward Search Education partners with school districts across the country to connect dedicated education professionals with meaningful opportunities. We’re currently partnering with a school district in Boulder County, Colorado<\/strong> to hire a Paraprofessional \/ RBT<\/strong> for the 2026\/2027 school year<\/strong>.
This role will support moderate needs classrooms (PK-5), with most support focused on 2nd-3rd grade<\/strong> students.<\/p>\n

Position Details:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  • Location:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> On-site<\/span><\/span>\n
  • School Year:<\/strong> 2026\/2027<\/span>\n
  • Schedule\/Hours:<\/strong> Full-time — ~35 hours\/week (working hours approx. 8:30am-3:30pm)<\/span>\n
  • Schedule:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> Approximately 8:30am-3:30pm<\/strong>, student attendance days<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
  • Pay Range:<\/strong>$27-$30\/hour<\/strong> <\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Provide instructional and classroom support under the direction of a certified teacher\/special education team.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    • Support students academically in 1:1 and\/or small-group settings to reinforce classroom learning.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    • Implement behavior supports and follow student plans (as applicable), using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    • Assist with classroom routines, materials prep, and transitions throughout the school day.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    • Monitor and document student progress\/behavior observations and communicate updates to the supervising team.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    • Support a safe, inclusive environment during classroom and non-classroom times (arrival\/dismissal, transitions, etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Paraeducator experience<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and\/or RBT certification<\/strong> (note: no BCBA supervision available<\/strong>).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
      • Minimum 2 years<\/span><\/span><\/strong> of special education experience in a public-school classroom<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
      • Reliable transportation<\/span><\/span><\/strong> required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
      • Comfortable working in a mountain community<\/strong> environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
      • Flexible, collaborative, and able to work as a supportive team player.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/ul>\n
