This role collaborates closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Position Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Start Date: <\/strong>September 2026\n<li><strong>End Date: <\/strong>5\/26\/27\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Monday &#8211; Friday, school hours\n<li><strong>Grade Levels:<\/strong> HS, JH, and Elementary\n<li><strong>Location: <\/strong>In Person, 40 hours\n<li><strong>School Year:<\/strong> 2026\/2027 <\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver therapy sessions to students based on the treatment plans created by the supervising SLP.\n<li>Work with students individually or in groups to target speech, language, and communication goals.\n<li>Use activities and materials provided or approved by the supervising SLP.\n<li>Collect data on student performance during therapy sessions.\n<li>Document progress and report findings to the supervising SLP.\n<li>Prepare therapy materials, activities, and equipment for sessions.\n<li>Assist in maintaining a clean and organized therapy space.\n<li>Help students use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices under the SLP&#8217;s guidance.\n<li>Assist in programming or troubleshooting AAC systems, as directed.\n<li>Work closely with the supervising SLP to ensure therapy aligns with students&#8217; goals.\n<li>Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students&#8217; communication needs.\n<li>Support activities aimed at preventing communication disorders (e.g., promoting literacy or language enrichment programs).\n<li>Help advocate for inclusive practices that support students with communication challenges. <\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>State License:<\/strong> Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor&#8217;s degree (or higher) with an emphasis in Communication Sciences &#038; Disorders\/Speech-Language Pathology, or a degree that includes the required SLPA coursework.\n<li><strong>Coursework:<\/strong> Minimum of 24 semester credit hours in speech-language pathology and\/or audiology, including coursework in language disorders and speech disorders.\n<li>Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.\n<li>Ability to work effectively with students across elementary, junior high, and high school settings.\n<li>Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth. <\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay and benefits package.\n<li>Access to a wide network of schools and districts for diverse placement options.\n<li>Streamlined hiring process to get you started quickly.\n<li>Ongoing communication and advocacy throughout your placement.\n<li>Personalized support from dedicated recruiting professionals.\n<li>Opportunities for professional growth and development. <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Apply?<\/strong><br \/> If you&#8217;re passionate about creating positive change and supporting students&#8217; success, this is the opportunity for you!
