This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students<\/strong> through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators and families. In this role, you’ll help promote students’ academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and behavioral success while supporting special education and general education initiatives across the district.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Location:<\/strong> Onsite in Wayne County, MI<\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Schedule:<\/strong> Full-Time, Monday-Friday<\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Weekly Hours:<\/strong> 40 hours per week<\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    School Year:<\/strong> 2026-2027<\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Grade Levels:<\/strong> K-12<\/span><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional assessments.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Interpret assessment results and communicate findings effectively to parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Participate in special education eligibility determinations and support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Support the implementation of evidence-based academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Conduct observations, data collection, and progress monitoring to support student success.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and manifestation determinations as needed.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Assist with crisis intervention, threat assessment, and student support initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • \n

        Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate, approval, or license through the Michigan Department of Education<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting preferred<\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, special education eligibility, and IEP processes<\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills<\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams<\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Commitment to supporting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of K-12 students<\/span><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n
