    Location:<\/strong> Onsite in Hunt County, TX<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Schedule:<\/strong> Full-Time, Monday-Friday<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Weekly Hours:<\/strong> 40 hours per week<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  • \n

    School Year:<\/strong> 2026-2027<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations and reevaluations<\/strong> in accordance with federal and Texas state guidelines.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Review student records, academic performance data, interventions, and teacher and parent input as part of the evaluation process.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Administer and interpret standardized educational assessment instruments<\/strong> within the Educational Diagnostician scope of practice.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Determine student eligibility for special education services under IDEA<\/strong> and Texas Education Agency (TEA)<\/strong> requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Prepare comprehensive Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE)<\/strong> reports.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Participate in ARD\/IEP meetings<\/strong> and provide clear explanations of evaluation results and recommendations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Collaborate with teachers, administrators, LSSPs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other related service providers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Make recommendations regarding educational programming, accommodations, modifications, and instructional supports.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Monitor evaluation timelines and maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Consult with teachers and school staff regarding instructional strategies, interventions, and student needs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Support data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes and educational access.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

      • \n

        Master’s degree required<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician EC-12 certification<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Experience conducting special education evaluations and writing FIE reports preferred<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Strong knowledge of IDEA, TEA guidelines, ARD processes, and special education compliance requirements<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Experience interpreting educational assessment data and making eligibility recommendations<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Excellent written communication, collaboration, and organizational skills<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n
