    School Year:<\/strong> 2026-2027<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Schedule:<\/strong> Full-Time, Monday-Friday (40 hours\/week)<\/p>\n

    Work Setting:<\/strong> On-site<\/p>\n

  • Hourly Rate:<\/strong> $54 – $61 <\/ul>\n

    Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

    Instruction & Curriculum Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals.<\/strong>\n
    • Modify curriculum and instructional methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.<\/strong>\n
    • Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies, assistive technology, and specialized instructional materials.<\/strong>\n
    • Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.<\/strong>\n
    • \n

      Classroom & Behavior Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Establish a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.<\/strong>\n
    • Implement positive behavior support strategies and individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSP).<\/strong>\n
    • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning space for students with varying disabilities.<\/strong>\n
    • \n

      Collaboration & Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Work closely with paraprofessionals, itinerants, and other support staff to meet student needs.<\/strong>\n
    • Communicate regularly with parents\/guardians regarding student progress and IEP goals.<\/strong>\n
    • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and interdisciplinary team discussions.<\/strong>\n
    • \n

      Compliance & Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and IEP documentation.<\/strong> <\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

        \n
      • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.<\/strong>\n
      • Certification: State Special Education teaching license\/certification. Licensure in Developmental Disabilities K-12 and\/or Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) preferred.<\/strong>\n
      • Experience: Prior experience working with students with disabilities in a center-based or special education setting preferred.<\/strong> <\/ul>\n

        Skills:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

          \n
        • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.<\/strong>\n
        • Knowledge of various disabilities, including autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral disorders.<\/strong>\n
        • Proficiency in using assistive technology and adaptive teaching strategies.<\/strong>\n
        • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<\/strong>\n
        • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students with special needs.<\/strong> <\/ul>\n

          Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or other evidence-based interventions.<\/strong>\n
          • Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies.<\/strong>\n
          • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools.<\/strong> <\/ul>\n

            Work Environment & Physical Demands:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Ability to lift\/move students as needed and assist with mobility.<\/strong>\n
            • Comfortable working in a structured, high-needs classroom setting.<\/strong>\n

            • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education laws and regulations.<\/strong>\n
