School Psychologist | Cassopolis, MI | 2026-2027 School Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re partnering with a school district in Cassopolis, Michigan<\/strong> to hire a dedicated School Psychologist<\/strong> for the 2026-2027 school year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this role, you’ll support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by conducting evaluations, providing counseling and interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping create safe, inclusive learning environments.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and identify students’ strengths and needs.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Provide individual and group counseling to support students with emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to improve student outcomes.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing evaluation results and recommendations.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Consult with school staff on behavior management strategies, classroom supports, and intervention planning.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Support school-wide initiatives focused on social-emotional learning (SEL), positive behavior supports, trauma-informed practices, and bullying prevention.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Assist with crisis response and provide support following school emergencies or critical incidents.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Monitor student progress and use data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and guide decision-making.<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Advocate for equitable access to educational and mental health services for all students.<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting preferred.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and evidence-based interventions.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n
