This full-time hybrid opportunity<\/strong> offers a schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote<\/strong>, providing flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on student success. In this role, you will support students’ academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being through assessment, consultation, and psychological services. You’ll work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help create supportive learning environments where students can thrive.<\/p>\n

    School Year:<\/strong> 2026-2027<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities<\/strong><\/u><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support special education eligibility and educational planning.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Complete evaluations for students suspected of eligibility under Emotional Disability (ED)<\/strong>, Autism (AU)<\/strong>, and Other Health Impairment (OHI\/ADHD)<\/strong> classifications.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Provide psychological services, including counseling, behavioral consultation, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and collaborate on IEP development and implementation.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Support multidisciplinary teams through data analysis, progress monitoring, and evidence-based recommendations.<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Maintain compliance with IDEA, Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements, and district policies.<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications<\/strong><\/u><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • \n

        Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting<\/p>\n

      • \n

        Experience evaluating students for ED, Autism, and OHI\/ADHD eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Knowledge of special education regulations, evaluation procedures, and ARD processes<\/p>\n

      • \n

        Experience providing counseling, behavioral consultation, and psychological services preferred<\/p>\n

      • \n

        Strong report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills<\/p>\n

      • \n

        Ability to manage evaluation timelines and maintain compliance with district and state requirements<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n
