About the Role<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Onward Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist<\/strong> to join the team at a vibrant dual language school serving a diverse student population. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional who is passionate about supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. Position:<\/strong> School Psychologist
Location:<\/strong> Cook County, Illinois
Schedule:<\/strong> Full-Time, In-Person (35-37.5 hours\/week)<\/p>\n

Schedule<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:<\/strong> 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM\n
  • Wednesday:<\/strong> 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM <\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write evaluation reports.\n
    • Serve as the LEA Representative<\/strong> during IEP meetings.\n
    • Facilitate MTSS data meetings<\/strong> and collaborate with school teams to monitor student progress.\n
    • Act as the primary point of contact for families throughout the initial evaluation process.\n
    • Participate on the school’s Student Response Team<\/strong>, providing support during student crises.\n
    • Conduct student risk assessments<\/strong> as needed.\n
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop effective intervention plans.\n
    • Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional supports.\n
    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.\n
    • Perform other duties as assigned. <\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.\n
      • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.\n
      • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in IEP meetings.\n
      • Strong knowledge of MTSS, special education eligibility, and school-based interventions.\n
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.\n
      • Bilingual (Spanish\/English) preferred<\/strong> due to the school’s dual language program. <\/ul>\n
