We're partnering with a school district in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This school-based position will primarily support elementary students and includes a caseload of approximately 40-50 students. The SLP will provide direct therapy services, complete evaluations and assessments, and collaborate with educational teams to support student success.

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist plays a vital role in helping students develop the communication, language, and social skills needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In this role, you will assess student needs, provide direct intervention services, support IEP implementation, and partner with educators and families to create meaningful outcomes for students with communication challenges.

Position Details:

• Location: In-Person
• Schedule: 37.5 hours weekly, full time
• School Year: 2026-2027
• Population: Elementary School Students
• Caseload: Approximately 40-50 Students

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, and related disorders through screenings, observations, and standardized assessments.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services for students with articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and individualized treatment plans that support student success in the educational setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress and integrate communication goals into classroom activities.
• Support students utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and recommend appropriate communication strategies when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, track student progress, ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations, and participate in student evaluations and progress reviews.
• Educate families and school staff regarding language development, communication strategies, and early intervention practices.
• Advocate for students' communication needs and help foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience conducting assessments, testing, and providing direct therapy services in a school-based or pediatric setting.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, special education compliance requirements, and evidence-based speech-language interventions.
