We are partnering with a school district in Worcester County, MA to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive educational environment. As a Middle School Inclusion Teacher, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to help students achieve academic, social, and behavioral success.
Position Details
- Location: Onsite in Worcester County, MA
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- School Year: 2026-2027
- Setting: Middle School Inclusion Classroom
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers to plan and deliver inclusive instruction.
- Implement accommodations and modifications tailored to individual student needs.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages academic growth and positive social interactions.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized educational plans.
- Collaborate with parents, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs, preferably at the middle school level
- Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and special education best practices
- Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered instruction
- Ability to work full-time during the 2026-2027 school year
